  • Booking information processed by our third-party booking platform (Jane App). We do not store your booking details on this website; they are managed inside Jane App's secure system.
  • Clinical records collected during the course of therapy. These are kept inside our practice management system and are governed by the BC College of Social Workers' standards of practice and applicable law.
  • Website analytics — non-identifying usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location at a city/region level, device type, and referral source — collected via Vercel Analytics.

How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To schedule and conduct therapy sessions.
  • To meet our legal, ethical, and professional obligations.
  • To improve the website and understand how it is used in aggregate.

Confidentiality of therapy

Information shared during therapy is kept confidential within the limits of the law and the BC College of Social Workers' standards of practice. Limits to confidentiality — including risk of harm to self or others, child or vulnerable adult protection concerns, and court orders — will be reviewed with you at intake.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of third-party providers who process limited information on our behalf:

  • Jane App — booking, scheduling, and practice management. Subject to Jane App's privacy policy.
  • Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
  • Blogger / Google — blog content delivery.

We choose providers who are appropriate for handling personal information in a Canadian context. Personal information may be processed or stored outside of Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Cookies

Retention

Clinical records are retained in accordance with the BC College of Social Workers' record-keeping standards and applicable law. Inquiries received by email are kept only as long as needed to respond and are then deleted.
