About Alex Franzius
MSW, RSW · Therapist in Kelowna, BC & Online Across British Columbia
I'm a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of British Columbia and a member in good standing of the BC College of Social Workers. My practice focuses on couples counselling and individual counselling for ADHD, autism (including AuDHD), anxiety & OCD, and trauma recovery. I work from a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach tailored to what you need.
My Background and Training
I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of British Columbia. My education also includes a Bachelor's degree with honours in Psychology and advanced training in the treatment of trauma, anxiety and OCD, neurodiversity, and perinatal/postpartum mental health challenges.
For the past seven years, I've had the privilege of working in the mental health field, supporting youth, adults, couples, parents, and folks navigating autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
A Little Bit About Me
When I'm not in the therapy room, you might find me devouring an epic fantasy or sci-fi book, sipping a coffee that I just remembered I made an hour ago, and trying desperately to remember to hydrate my body.
